Continuous Analytics Components
The Continuous Analytics software system has a modular, multi-tier architecture to enable the creation of complete analytics and decisioning applications, from data management and storage, to logic, to display. Any module can be used in addition to the core TruSQL stream-relational processing engine.
TruSQL Engine
TruSQL combines the real-time speed of stream processing with SQL language queries on stored data. This stream-relational processing technology was first conceived in 2001, and developed into a flexible high-availability engine. Data is pulled or pushed into the TruSQL engine from relational tables, files, or streaming data sources. The data is correlated and runs against queries that update in real-time, based on changes to the data. There’s no need to select data, then read and query the data later. Queries run in parallel as data comes in, resulting in continuously up-to-date reports and a dramatic reduction in server resources and infrastructure costs.
High Cardinality Optimization Module
Dealing with millions or billions of unique values is a major shortcoming of RDBMS and batch processing systems. Truviso solves the "uniques" (unique visitors, unique pages) problem with a module specifically designed to enable efficient management of non-additive values and compute unique counts in a highly efficient and scalable fashion. The High Cardinality Optimization Module is designed for efficient analysis of tens of billions of unique values, and also enables highly valuable correlation analyses of the relationships between unique users and other dimensions and metrics.
TruView Reporting and Visualization Dashboards
Getting the right reports to the right people is your end game – providing intelligence that makes your company and your customers more efficient. TruView is a customizable, completely browser-based Adobe® Flex™ user interface that gives thousands of users permission-controlled access to dashboards, scorecards, reports and graphical data visualizations. It provides a library of pre-built graphing and charting templates for the rapid creation of intuitive reports. You can easily distribute collections of reports or dashboards internally to your employees, or brand them for partners and customers over an extranet, without any installed client software applications.
TruAction Triggers
The TruAction framework enables personalization and event-based marketing. The results of multivariate data analysis or calculated thresholds can trigger external systems like content management systems and ad servers, kickoff business processes, or send alerts. Personas, actions and patterns can trigger systems to perform direct activities like showing specific content, displaying an ad, sending an email, IP-blocking, bandwidth management, and content propagation across networks. TruAction connectors publish query results as alerts or programmatic actions to a source system, and you can set up notifications to be alerted instantly via SMS or email when a parameter or guideline is met, or an exception is found.
TruLink Data Source Connectors
Connect to the data you need, regardless of its source. The TruLink Connector framework leverages open standards to enable you to connect with just about any data source. Connectors clean, filter, and transform data as needed, and handle the field mapping from schema to schema. Additionally, you can use web services APIs to connect to enterprise software systems, and live data from message busses or ETL tools. A library of pre-built connectors supporting most common data formats is available (including JDBC, XML, JMS, CSV, flat files, SOAP, REST, web services, and more). TruLink Connectors support the full connection lifecycle – start, stop, pause, remove, and add.
Distributed Deployment
Multiple Truviso instances can be deployed across distributed systems, enabling edge, grid, and "in-network" data processing. Clustered servers provide redundancy, high-availability as well as distributed processing power.
Distributed deployment enables: Zero-latency, edge data processing at the point of captureAggregation, filtering, transformation, and cleansing across multiple sourcesLive monitoring of inter-system business processes and complex events. In a grid deployment, Truviso takes a groundbreaking approach to execute the most complicated analysis instantly as new data arrives from one or more sources, then moves the aggregates and computed data to central management nodes for rollup and comprehensive reporting.
