By running queries directly against live data, Truviso opens up entirely new possibilities in the way data is managed, analyzed and acted upon - enabling monitoring, alerting and decision-making applications that previously imposed massive costs and hardware requirements on the IT infrastructure. Our solution has several unique attributes, including:

• Executes many simultaneous queries - Truviso's adaptive query processor can run thousands of queries continuously and simultaneously on a single server, and new queries can be added, modified or removed on-the-fly without adversely impacting performance.
• Runs queries over both real-time and historical data - In addition to processing incoming data streams, Truviso can also query historical data from within the same engine—enabling replay, back-testing, drill-down, bench-marking, model development and other analysis.
• Analyzes data across heterogeneous data sources - Analyzing events across multiple source systems is virtually impossible to do in real-time today. Truviso can directly tap into numerous heterogeneous data sources to perform correlation, augmentation, validation, transformation and other data processing or analysis in real-time.
• Delivers results in an integrated dashboard - Truviso provides a fully-integrated front-end for building rich internet applications that run in a standard web browser. Dynamic, interactive charts, graphs and other visualizations can be combined in a dashboard or delivered modularly to other interfaces.
• Supports full SQL - Unlike systems that rely on proprietary query languages or stripped down sub-sets of SQL, Truviso supports full SQL syntax, enabling user-defined aggregates, user-defined functions, views, stored procedures, sub-queries and other advanced functions to be run against real-time data streams.
• Minimizes performance impact on existing systems - One of the main limitations of data analysis is that it adversely impacts the performance of both transactional and analytical systems. By directly analyzing data streams, Truviso allows mission-critical data analysis to be performed without slowing system performance.
• Deploys rapidly through a standards-based approach - Truviso's use of standards such as SQL, ODBC/JDBC and XML enables rapid application development, easy maintenance, and significant re-use. Further, such development skillsets are readily available, with minimal re-training.
